Christmas party times virtually
After we were last year together, under the guidance of our colleague Toni, already like the professionals to prepare a delicious Christmas feast, we thought, it would be laughed, if we could not do it this year also virtually! So our dear chef began again to put together a delicious menu for the Christmas party.
Off to the supermarket with the shopping list!
The menu of the evening promised us as main course "two kinds of pumpkin with truffle risolee, filet de boeuf, chili pumpkin and sauce". and then a delicious dessert "Cheese makes curd and becomes crumble".
Good thing there's Google!
And it also provided a few laughs in the Academy's group chat.
On 11.12. the merry circle then met in our DXC Academy Webroom, to prove themselves as cooks, alone but together.
To encourage the improvisational skills of our guiding master chef, there were also one or two variations in the purchase of each individual. But even this obstacle he mastered with flying colors and always found a good substitute ingredient in the supplies or gave a professional extra instruction. So the good red wine flowed into the sauce bowls as well as one or the other glass into the colleagues and everybody was full of energy.
A nice evening with lots of old stories, laughing faces, delicious food and a lot of Academy spirit proved to everyone in the end that you can celebrate Christmas together even virtually.
In this sense, a Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year to a hopefully more normal 2021.
